Giant Step Toward No Kill Resolution In Broward County
Fort Lauderdale, May 11, 2014 – Pets’ Broward is thrilled to announce that the Broward County Commission is taking a giant step forward in their No Kill initiative.
On Tuesday, May 13th @ 2 p.m. the Commission will discuss building a countywide spay-neuter facility via a public-private partnership. Large scale and low cost spay-neuter is key to ending the pet overpopulation epidemic in Broward County.
We appreciate the time spent by County staff and officials over the last year and a half working with Pets’ Broward and the rescue community, and applaud the Commission’s commitment to making Broward County No Kill.
To lend your support, please attend the County Commission meeting:
Location: Broward County Governmental Center Room 422, 115 S. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301.
